Fire Safety Tips
Put out small grease fires with flour or a pan lid.
Why?
Most home fires start in the kitchen involving cooking. A grease fire is a frequent cause of kitchen fires. By putting a pan lid or pouring flour on a small grease fire, it generally smothers the fire and puts it out quickly.
