Fire Safety Tips
Don't store propane cans in or around your home.
Why?
Because if your home catches fire and the propane cans are engulfed in flames, they will act as a bomb and can explode carrying metal projectile debris for as far as 1/2 a mile. They are very dangerous to those living in your home, dangerous to neighbors and to Fire-Rescue personnel.

Smoke Detectors
Dallas Fire-Rescue provides free smoke alarms for City of Dallas residents. Click here to make a request. In addition, the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department is now installing smoke alarms for persons who are deaf or have hearing impairments. Click here for more information.
