Fire Safety Tips
Don't put extension cords under rugs.
Why?
The backside of rugs is abrasive. The normal rubbing from rug movement on an extension cord will wear the plastic off in a short period of time. This can cause an electrical arc concealed under the rug and cause a fire very quickly. Extension cord material isn't designed to be constantly rubbed on.
